Stephen Beers - Chair

With a career of 35 years in the Media industry, Stephen Beers has worked across many facets of the ever changing landscape. Primarily with Radio 3AW, however working closely with national and regional media companies in the delivery of media solutions and evolution.

Originally as the at ground technician for Harry Bietzel calling the AFL, while completing technical studies at RMIT. To panel operator for Lawyers Guns and Money, later Ross Stevenson & Dean Banks, and Neil Mitchell programs.

Operations Manager for the 3AW, to Engineering & Operations manager upon completion of Graduate Diploma in Computer Sciences at LaTrobe. In this role designing, budgeting and building the current 3AW studios at Media House.

Operations Director of Melbourne for Fairfax Media, and then Macquarie Radio Network. 

Currently Station Manager of 3AW, Nine Radio Melbourne. Responsible for Melbourne content, staff, legal, HR and P&L.

Trevor O’Hoy

After almost 33 years service Trevor O'Hoy left Foster's Group in 2008. Commencing in 1976 as a cadet executive his career at Foster's included the roles of Managing Director of CUB and  Chief Financial Officer of Foster's and culminated in being appointed Chief Executive Officer of Foster's in 2004.

Moira Merrick is a Regional Director in the Private Groups and High Wealth Individuals business line at the Australian Taxation Office (ATO). Prior to joining the ATO in 2017, Moira was a Director in the Tax & Insights Policy group at Deloitte.

Tony Grosso

Tony is a Director of WGC Business Advisors Pty Ltd, Chartered Accountants who has over 29 years of experience in providing superannuation, taxation and business services advice to the SME market.  He is a member of The Taxation Institute and enjoys watching most sports, being an amateur chef at home and enjoying great food and wine.

Matthew O’Rourke

Matthew works in regulatory affairs and government relations at Macquarie Telecom Group. He has over 20 years’ experience in telecommunications and competition regulation across more than 60 countries. He is also a director of Communications Alliance Ltd, the peak industry body representing the Australian telecommunications industry.

He has Master’s level qualifications in competition law and business administration, and is a Graduate Member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.

Matthew is a grandson of Leo T. Tobin, one of the co-founders of Tobin Brothers.

In her current role as Talent Acquisition Operations Manager, Ellen oversees recruitment-related compliance, team capability and training, change management, quality assurance, risk management, process optimisation, and continuous improvement.

Siobhan Browne

Siobhan has enjoyed a fun and exciting 30-year career as an Event and Marketing Manager across the sport, business and not for profit industries in both Melbourne and Sydney.

In the late 1980’s, it all began at IMG working on national golf events the Australian Masters/Open/PGA and Coolum Classic. A move to Sydney as the Marketing Coordinator of the Sydney Swans Football Club. Returning to Melbourne Siobhan joined a boutique event management company Corporate Entertainment Options (CEO) in corporate hospitality at the MCG and Melbourne Cup Carnival. Needing a change, it was time to explore the advertising world in the promotional marketing department at Leo Burnett Connaghan & May.
