About the Foundation

Established in 1984 to mark the company’s 50th anniversary, the Tobin Brothers Foundation makes annual grants to organisations and individuals whose work can be shown to have meaningful “community benefit”. 

The Tobin Brothers Foundation underscores the company’s long term philanthropic commitment to assisting community projects in the Melbourne area. 

Since its establishment, the Foundation has made over 376 separate monetary awards totalling over $835,000 to an array of worthy community groups.

Grants from the Foundation are limited to organisations that are Deductible Gift Recipients (DGR) under Division 30 of the Income Tax Assessment Act 1997. 


Dr Aubrey Moss Educational Trust Award

In 2008, the Tobin Brothers Foundation, took on the annual (and perpetual) Dr Aubrey Moss Grant which is directed towards applicants with an educational purpose, particularly assisting youth and the disadvantaged. Since 2008, an annual Dr Aubrey Moss Educational Trust grant has been awarded along with the many other Tobin Brothers Foundation grants.
