Christmas Remembrance Services 2015

The countdown to Christmas has begun and within a few weeks children around the world will be counting the number of ‘sleeps’ before Santa comes calling.

There is no other day in the year that brings people of so many nations and religious denominations together to celebrate the birth of Christ, or to simply enjoy each others’ company during the festive season.

For many people the 25th of December  will always be a reminder of a Christmas past; a  time  when they looked forward to watching Carols by Candlelight on Christmas Eve and being up bright and early the following morning to open presents and get the turkey in the oven ready for friends and family to arrive.

But this year, because of the death of a loved one, Christmas will not be the same and many people mourning the loss of family members will be wondering how they are going to manage emotionally at this time.

Tobin Brothers Funerals is acutely aware of just how difficult the festive season can be and that’s why we are again holding non-religious Christmas Remembrance Services at our  chapels.

The theme for this year’s services is ‘You’ll Never Walk Alone’, and in this spirit we warmly invite you to come along to any one of these services where those present, galvanised by grief, may also be wondering how they are going to cope this Christmas.

Through our Christmas Remembrance Services, we hope we can help you celebrate the life of your loved ones, provide you with some useful suggestions and find some comfort at this time of year.
