Siobhan Browne

Siobhan has enjoyed a fun and exciting 30-year career as an Event and Marketing Manager across the sport, business and not for profit industries in both Melbourne and Sydney.

In the late 1980’s, it all began at IMG working on national golf events the Australian Masters/Open/PGA and Coolum Classic. A move to Sydney as the Marketing Coordinator of the Sydney Swans Football Club. Returning to Melbourne Siobhan joined a boutique event management company Corporate Entertainment Options (CEO) in corporate hospitality at the MCG and Melbourne Cup Carnival. Needing a change, it was time to explore the advertising world in the promotional marketing department at Leo Burnett Connaghan & May.

By 2000 Siobhan returned to her studies, to focus on Event Management at Victoria University and soon moved into the not-for-profit area at Variety the Children’s charity – Fundraising Manager of the Vic Bash and 4WD Adventure for the next ten years.

In the mid 2000’s a flexible work and home life came calling with an opportunity to create her own business and work with several organisations including Melbourne Business Network and Business3000 Awards Program – Project Manager, Melbourne Day Committee – Executive Officer, and The Association of Manufacturing Excellence (AME) - National Marketing, Membership & Events Manager.

By 2020 after studying a Professional Certificate of Education Support at Monash University Siobhan moved into education, working with primary school children to help and assist them with their learning.

Siobhan is a granddaughter of Leo T. Tobin, one of the co-founders of Tobin Brothers.
